Drone Aerial Mapping with Contours at Sand Mine Site
  • The project area is flown with ground control targets set.

  • The images are post processed 

    • The project is georeferenced to ground control targets.

    • A DSM is generated and any unwanted artifacts are removed. Ex. conveyors, buildings, equipment, contours on water, etc.

  • Orthorectified final image is created. 

  • Processed data is exported to AutoCAD Civil 3D and the final deliverable files are created and sent to the client for analysis.

    • A DSM is generated and any stacking conveyors are removed.

  • Processed data is exported to AutoCAD Civil 3D where the stockpile volume is calculated. 

  • A final pdf report is submitted to the client.

  • The mining area is flown before and after a specified area is mined, with ground control targets set.

  • The images are post processed 

    • The project is georeferenced to ground control targets.

    • A DSM is generated and any unwanted artifacts are removed.

  • Processed data is exported to AutoCAD Civil 3D where the two flight times are compared and a volume is calculated. 

  • A final pdf report is submitted to the client. 

Mine Planning, Reserve Quantities, Overburden Quantities

  • Project area is defined by the client and the best available existing ground is used. Ex. Drone, LiDAR

  • MSL elevation limits are defined by client.

  • Mine plan and requested quantities are calculated based on yearly plant or site throughput.

  • A final pdf report is submitted to the client.
